Back Tracking, Packing, and Cracking

Truthfully, it was a little painful to come back after 6 months and re-read the last post in all of it’s GOOP-ish glory. I’m not sure what I was on (some kind of cleanse-fueled euphoria?) when I wrote that, but tonight, with the champion‘s juice in my blood (Big Mac sauce and the middle creams of an undisclosed number of oreo cookies), I’m going to backtrack, and try this once more with feeling.

While I haven’t entirely fallen off of any wagons (so far) this year, I’ve done more than my share of indulging in guilty pleasures, including, but not limited to, Sunday Bingo with mimosas at Pieces, Gender Free Contra dancing, punishingly long bike rides (in pursuit of tacos, in torrential rain, among hoards of people), chiropractor magic, and desert wanderings. I’m going to leave my thoughts on triathlons/wetsuits/carbon bikes for another day, along with a recap of the strange, exotic, and mysterious places I’ve travelled to this year (Madison! Flushing! North Charleston! – seriously, these places are all amazing, and I will tell you why.. just not today).

I’m going to wrap up today’s small burst of productivity (which interrupts a three-day Breaking Bad marathon) with a few pictures of my new apartment in all of their size-distorting, chotsky-filled glory:

Do you like cows or something?

The dream is to put a wall mural in this bathroom (something on the lines of this)
